The Women Empowering Western Fumigation 

At Western Fumigation, keeping operations moving and partnerships strong takes a team of dedicated people working together every day. This International Women’s Day, we’re celebrating the many women across our company who bring energy, expertise, and leadership to the work we do. 

Among them are two team members whose impact can be felt across our organization: Elise Anderson and Christina Lista.  

For more than a decade, Fumigation Administrative Coordinator Elise Anderson has been one of the steady forces helping Western Fumigation run smoothly. From supporting technicians to coordinating with customers and partners, she plays a key role in keeping things moving around the clock. 

Her approach to the job is simple: look for ways to add value and make things better. Over the years, that mindset has made a real difference, and it’s part of the reason she has earned both Employee of the Year and Employee of the Quarter recognition during her time with the company.  

According to General Manager Len Fodera, “Elise plays a critical role in keeping our operations running around the clock,” said General Manager, Len Fodera. “Her relationships and professionalism with our customers, partners, government agencies, and technicians truly keep the heart of Western Fumigation beating.” 

Outside of work, Elise enjoys spending time with her grandson and getting on the water boating, crabbing, and fishing whenever she can. 

While Elise helps keep the day-to-day running smoothly, International Business Development Manager Christina Lista focuses on building the connections that help Western Fumigation grow. 

In her role, Christina works closely with customers, partners, and regulatory agencies across ports and international markets. Fodera comments, “Christina plays a vital role in strengthening our industry presence. Christina’s exceptional ability to build rapport and foster strong, supportive relationships with our partners and government agencies has reinforced our presence across local ports and created new opportunities for expansion along the Eastern Seaboard.” 

One of the accomplishments she is most proud of is leading a diverse delegation of professionals in Chile each year. Through a carefully planned schedule of meetings and events, the trip creates meaningful opportunities for collaboration and strengthens partnerships within the industry.   

Outside of work, Christina enjoys trying new restaurants, visiting local farmers’ markets, or going to concerts. With spring getting closer, she’s also looking forward to starting her garden!
